Delete your Verzatio data
This page explains how to delete your Verzatio account or a workspace, what happens to your data, including the data we received when you signed in with Google or Microsoft, and how to remove Verzatio's access to your accounts.
Option 1: In the app
- Sign in at app.verzatio.com.
- Go to Personal Settings > Security > Delete account. If you are not in any workspace, the Delete account button is on the screen shown after you sign in.
- Confirm with your password. If you only sign in with Google or Microsoft, we send a 6-digit code to your email to confirm instead.
If you own a workspace, you must delete it first (see "Deleting a workspace" below).
Option 2: By email
Email support@verzatio.com with the subject "Delete my account" from the email address on your account. Include the sign-in method you used (Google, Microsoft or email and password). We confirm receipt and complete the deletion within 30 days, then email you a confirmation.
What is deleted
Deletion is immediate and permanent:
- Your profile: name, email address, password and preferences.
- The Google or Microsoft sign-ins linked to your account, and the data we received from them.
- Your personal connections ("My connections") and their access tokens.
- Your private chats and their attachments, and your private board views.
- Your notifications and notification settings, recent items, sessions, verification codes and pending invitations sent to your email.
Agents whose Knowledge Base uses folders from your personal connections stop reading those folders. Before you confirm, you see the list of these agents, and the workspace admins are notified by email.
Deleted data leaves our backups within 8 days. You can later be invited again with the same email address.
What we keep
- Content that belongs to a workspace stays there: agents, boards, cards, comments, forms, shared chats and run history. Where it showed your name, it now shows "Removed user".
- Audit log entries, with your name and email replaced by "Removed user".
- Billing records, for as long as tax law requires, and information needed to resolve disputes, prevent fraud or comply with law.
Deleting a workspace (owner only)
- Open Company settings in the workspace and click Delete workspace.
- Type the workspace name and confirm with your password, or with a code sent to your email.
What happens:
- The workspace is blocked for all members immediately, and the members are notified by email. Their accounts are not deleted.
- Published forms, chat and agent widgets, landing pages, API keys and integrations stop working.
- The subscription renewal is canceled immediately, without a prorated refund. Remaining credits are lost when the workspace is permanently deleted.
- For 30 days, the owner can restore the workspace in Personal Settings > Workspaces.
- After 30 days, all of the workspace's content, files and logs are permanently deleted, and they leave our backups within 8 more days.
- We do not currently provide a tool to export workspace data. Copy anything you want to keep before deleting.
Revoking access without deleting your account
You can disconnect Google Drive, OneDrive, SharePoint, Slack, Microsoft Teams or ClickUp in Integrations. This deletes the stored access tokens. You can also revoke access in your Google account, your Microsoft account (for a work or school account, ask your organization's administrator), or your Slack or ClickUp settings.
Data collected by our customers
If you submitted information through a form, widget, chat agent or portal of a business that uses Verzatio, that business controls the information. Please ask them to delete it. We will help them complete the request.
